Rule-based first
Shop Health, listing audits, recommendations, analytics, profit and inventory are computed by deterministic rules from your data — not by AI — so they are consistent and explainable.
Where AI is used
Listing rewrites, photo reviews and image briefs, keyword ideas, product ideas, opportunity ideas, seasonal plans, competitor summaries, weekly report headlines and Copilot answers.
Guardrails
Every AI response must match a strict schema and is validated before use; invalid output is rejected. AI never changes your data or your Etsy listings directly. Seller data is passed to the model as clearly delimited data, not instructions. The Copilot only sees facts computed from your own shop and is instructed to say when data is unavailable. Action links in AI answers are restricted to internal app pages.
Provider
We use OpenAI models through the API. Smaller models handle simple tasks; larger ones handle complex analysis.
